Our story
Why I built SlipSync
I'm James Russwurm, co-founder of a built environment consultancy in Johannesburg. Running a consultancy means a steady stream of slips for materials, printing, software and site supplies, and for years mine ended up in the car, my inbox and my wallet. Then I noticed the freelancers, contractors and small suppliers I work with every day had the same problem, and most of them were losing real money at tax time because of it. The big accounting packages are overkill for that one job, so I built the simple tool we all needed.

What we store
Your slip photos, the amounts, suppliers, dates and categories, and your name and email. That's it. We don't ask for your ID number, tax number or banking details.
How it's protected
SlipSync runs on Base44, which is ISO 27001 certified and encrypts your data in transit and at rest.
Where it's stored
Your data is stored securely on our platform provider's servers outside South Africa.
Payments
Payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card number.

Boxes of old slips? We'll scan, upload, and organise your historical receipts so you start with clean, accurate data. From R1 500 for up to 250 receipts. Once complete, your account moves onto the plan of your choice.
